Kiss goodbye to panda eye!

Eye liner (currently on buy one get one half price @Boots)

Ladies & gentlefolk allow me to introduce you to what are, in my opinion, the best high street eye-liner out there, as well as its bargain beauty remover…  I’m talking about SEVENTEEN’s Tattoo Me Semi-Permanent Eye-Liner and Kleenex’s Eye Makeup Remover Wipes!

‘So what’s so good about them?’ I hear you cry? Well, put it this way SEVENTEEN brag that their eye-liner could handle 48 hours of wear, now although I’ve never worn it for that long and under no circumstances do I recommend wearing it for that long (Your eyes are such a sensitive part of your body folks, treat them well!) I firmly believe it could last 2 days, no problem. Believe me; this stuff doesn’t budge under any circumstances. I’ve worn it in 37° heat in America, I’ve worn it and done a 10 hour shift at work and I’ll even admit I’ve once worn it in the shower (Don’t ask!).

I think it's fair to say we’ve established that this liner gets 10/10 for durability, but I’m also extremely glad to tell you that the pigment is exactly as it’s described on the bottle, “intense black” (there’s no patchiness here!). However, it could be said that the liner is a tad gloopy and because of this can take a while to dry but that’s easily resolved, just make sure you wipe off the excess before applying and allow a few extra seconds to dry, simples! Application may also seem hard for some people who, like me, are used to using an eye-liner pen, therefore, I’d recommend doing what I do and drawing the shape onto your lid first with the pen and then tracing over it with the semi-permanent liner, the extra effort will guarantee you get the perfect look, which is essential if you’re a fan of doing fierce feline flicks!

Now, I’m sure you’ll have put 2 and 2 together and established that surely this stuff must be a pain to get off and yes you’d be right in saying that. SEVENTEEN recommend using an oil based remover, but I’ll admit I didn’t read that until about half an hour ago, but either way I use a budget beauty product that shifts this tricky customer no problaymo. Hands up if you thought Kleenex only sold tissues *throws hand in the air* well we were wrong my dear friends, they’ve burst into the makeup remover market and boy are they leaving their mark. Kleenex’s eye makeup remover wipes are perfect for removing this liner as well as being suitable for those with sensitive skin and also for you eco-warriors out there, these wipes are made of earth friendly fibres, wohoo! The best thing about these wipes though, for me, is their price as they’re for sale for only 99p, in funnily enough, the 99p shop!

So treat yourself to a hardcore new eye liner, after all, the Christmas party season is slowly but surely creeping up on us! Also, if you’re like Alex and I and you’re off to Uni and are looking for affordable fresher friendly makeup, put this liner on the top of your list!  Just make sure you pick up a good eye makeup remover because without one... well all I’m going to say is good luck to you!

  1. Ugh, this liner sounds like the bomb diggity. I'm always on the hunt for a decent liquid liner, but all the ones I like are expensive or ACROSS THE POND ;-;
    I didn't know Kleenex did makeup wipes either!

  4. I am useless with eyeliner. I just end up looking as if I have a black eye. But, my bargin purchases are mascara, I think some of the budget ones are actually way better than my posh clinique one...esp the No. 7 one I have with a curvy brush
